Federal case going to jury. Lil Durk’s federal murder-for-hire trial is nearing jury deliberations after his defense called nine witnesses in a single day, attacking testimony of key government cooperators before both sides rested.
The prosecution formally rested after presenting cooperating witnesses, travel logs, phone and financial records, surveillance video and selective song excerpts that prosecutors say link Durk to a 2022 Los Angeles ambush that killed Saviay’a Lul Pab Robinson. Durk and his two co-defendants declined to testify and the defense called nine witnesses to challenge cooperators motives and offer alternate explanations for travel, hotel and vehicle movements.
