Lato insists in a new interview that the internet doesn’t know who she’s secretly dating now.
Lato talks about keeping her relationship secret
On August 9, Big Latto (aka Big Mama) collaborated with Ebro Darden on Apple Music to promote her latest album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea. During the conversation (shown below), Ebro also addressed Lato’s dating relationship, which she opened up about on her new album, although she continues to keep her partner’s identity private. The Atlanta rapper insisted in an interview that everything online is wrong when it comes to who her secret boyfriend is.
“The internet doesn’t know anything, let’s go from there,” Lato said when Ebro asked about Lato keeping her relationship with her mystery man low-key. “I like to be alone. I don’t think it’s anyone’s business. Things. Listen to the music and you’ll know what you need to know.”
Lato later admitted that it was a bit difficult to speak openly about her relationships in music.
“When other people are in the studio, yes,” she said. “Because I feel like a fool. And I’m not a fool at all. It’s so weird. Giving up on myself and swallowing my pride is a hard task. It’s not that hard when I can get into it, completely, If I sit in the studio and just write down my ideas, but when someone is there, I feel like a fool.

Who is Lato’s mysterious man?
Lato’s relationship with her boyfriend has been kept low-key, but there has been much speculation about his identity. Many believe she has been dating 21 Savage for the past few years. In December 2022, No. 21 revealed that he did not have a celebrity girlfriend amid speculation that he was with Lato. Photos from January showed they both had tattoos of each other’s names. Back in May, fans thought Lato was hinting that 21 was her man based on the character’s appearance in The Sims.
