The “Big Energy” rapper sparked controversy when she posted a photo of her mother when she was 15, shortly after giving birth to her mother.
Later, a post went viral claiming that Lato’s father was 23 years old at the time.
“Lato shared a photo of herself as a baby being held by her mother, with the caption, ‘My mom is 15 and almost together with me,'” the post read.
“At the time of conception, her father was 23 and her mother was 15. Doesn’t that make her father a pedophile? Hmm, I think.
Lato fired back: “My parents are 3 years apart, haha.”

The age gap between her parents has been mentioned before.
When Latto feuded with Nicki Minaj in late 2022, the “Anaconda” rapper used it as ammunition for their Twitter feud.
