Following Jay-Z’s recent performance at the Roots Picnic where he freestyled about their infamous 1999 nightclub altercation, Lance “Un” Rivera issued a powerful, public open letter to clap back at the rap mogul’s lyrics.
Rivera called Hov’s verse “revisionist history” and detailed his side of the stabbing incident. The letter, posted to Instagram, has been shared by Dame Dash and Kareem Burke.
He ended by saying “30 years later and you still rapping about me. I’m flattered.”
