In a major win for streaming TV, Kim Kardashian has officially renewed her legal drama All’s Fair for a second season on Hulu, despite the show earning a brutal 3% rating on Rotten Tomatoes just weeks after its Nov. 4 premiere.

The renewal comes on the heels of “All’s Fair,” which has been viewed 3.2 million times worldwide, making it Hulu’s most-watched scripted debut in three years. While critics were critical of the show, viewers responded more positively, with a ratings of 66% on the same platform.

Kardashian plays Alura Grant, a sharp-tongued divorce attorney who runs an all-female law firm in Los Angeles. Created by Ryan Murphy, the series features a stellar cast including Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Niecy Nash-Betts and Naomi Watts, all cast in Murphy’s signature high-gloss production style.

The SKIMS mogul doesn’t shy away from negative media. Instead, she leaned into it, posting a series of scathing comments on Instagram shortly after the show premiered. One of the posts even highlighted how the criticisms sparked curiosity and buzz about the show.

This is Kardashian’s first starring role in a scripted series, following a small role in Murphy’s “American Horror Story: Exquisite.” The renewal marks a pivotal moment in her acting career as she balances her growing entertainment resume with business ventures and legal studies.
