Killer children take center stage in horror film Ice Cream Man, which Nas executive produces.
A new trailer for the upcoming film, directed by horror film veteran Eli Roth, debuted earlier this month. The story of the upcoming horror film revolves around children in a small town who go on a murderous rampage after receiving ice cream from a mysterious businessman.
Based on the trailer, the film is definitely as gory as it gets and contains unrated content.
Nas serves as executive producer through Mass Appeal, working with The Horror Section, a new production company founded by Rose in 2025.
“I’m proud to work with Eli to bring these films to life and push the boundaries of horror culturally and creatively,” Nas said in a statement to Variety in March. “Eli and I have had a shared vision from the beginning, and ‘The Horror’ felt like a natural collaboration with him. I’m excited to take the genre in exciting new directions, and ‘Ice Cream Man’ is just the beginning.”
Ross feels the same way about the partnership.
“Nas is one of the most influential storytellers and cultural voices of all time, and we instantly bonded over our shared love of horror,” Ross said in a statement. “We’re excited to partner with Mass Appeal because it has an unparalleled cultural pulse and truly resonates.”
“Ice Cream Man” will be released on August 7th.
