Kid Cudi and Wiz Khalifa officially announced their collaborative EP “Weed-Induced Coma” for summer 2026.
In a public update, Cudi revealed they are aiming for “cinematic scale,” hinting at hiring legendary film composer Hans Zimmer to lead an orchestra for the project’s production.
The news follows years of fan requests for a full Cudi/Wiz project after collabs like “The Way It Is” and “Smoke This Tree.” No tracklist or date yet, but the Hans Zimmer tease suggests a major left turn from typical stoner rap.
Both artists have orchestral experience: Cudi scored Entergalactic, Wiz performed with symphonies. A Zimmer-led orchestra would be unprecedented in hip-hop.
