Kanye West shares his reaction to J. Cole’s apology to Kendrick Lamar after he mocked the Pulitzer Prize winner on ‘7 Minute Training’ savage reaction.
During an interview with The Download podcast, Ye took a shot at Cole over a remix of Lamar’s Future and Metro Boomin’s hit “Like That,” and dismissed the Dreamville Records founder’s attacks on K. Dot. He also accused Cole of not supporting his “First Person Shooter” collaborator and touring partner Drake.
“F###all these p####s are f###s,” West told host Justin LaBoy. “F### It’s all ###. Because, like n#### J. Cole is touring with Drake, he knows what it is. Like, n####, you can’t run now. Too You.
When the host suggested “it’s up to Cole,” West doubled down. “You can’t say that in the same sentence as Cole,” he added.
Ye also insisted that he was not a fan of the Fayetteville MC and was not interested in his music.
“I don’t listen to J. Cole,” West said. “I just heard he had a song called ‘False’ [Prophets]’I was told that half of it was about me.
Elsewhere in the podcast, West recalled Future plotting to “eliminate Drake” after recruiting him to participate in the “Like That” remix.
“Pluto called me,” he explained. “I went to the studio and put that one down. And then we went through the creative process and added the chorus… You know, everyone was really, really excited about Drake’s elimination. Not excited β we were full of energy.
