Justin Timberlake has canceled another show on his Forget Tomorrow world tour due to a back injury suffered during a recent show in New Orleans. The 43-year-old artist announced Saturday that his Dec. 2 concert at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City will not go ahead as planned. As Timberlake continues to recover, his commitment to Forget Tomorrow World Tour highlights his dedication to his craft and his audience. Fans remain hopeful that the remaining shows will go on as planned, delivering the same high-energy performances that cemented his status as a global superstar.

“I’m so sorry, Oklahoma City,” Timberlake shared on his Instagram Story. “I hurt my back in NOLA and my doctor instructed me to rest a little longer. I hate doing this but thank you for the support.” He ended his message by heartily thanking his fans for their understanding. It’s been a sign of Timberlake’s success in recent months. The tour schedule has been disrupted for the third time.

Justin Timberlake back injury causes tour dates to be canceled

The Forget Tomorrow World Tour supports Timberlake’s latest album Everything I Thought It Was and marks the singer’s first major tour in five years. The ambitious program, which spans the United States, South America, Europe and the United Kingdom, will run until 2025 and incorporate the previously postponed October date into the February schedule. Fans are eagerly anticipating the tour, which celebrates Timberlake’s evolution as a pop and R&B icon.

Timberlake’s challenges this year aren’t limited to health setbacks. In September, the singer settled a DUI charge, pleading guilty and being fined $500 and ordered to perform 25 hours of community service. The incident briefly diverted attention from his music, but Timberlake remains focused on delivering an exceptional experience for his fans. N’Synce member Joey Fatone attended one of Timberlake’s tours and shared the experience with fans on social media. Prior to this, another band member, Lance Bass, claimed that Diddy helped break up their band and suggested that Justin leave the band to pursue a solo career.
