J. Cole surprised by possible later deletion
Just in time for this weekend’s Dreamville Fest, J. Cole has unveiled a surprising new project that “may be dropped later.” The North Carolina native announced the news on his Instagram page on April 5: “J. Cole – Might be removed later. Posting now.” The 12-track offering features his Dreamville Records artists Bas and Ari Lennox, Cam’ron, Ab-Soul, Central Cee, Young Dro, Gucci Mane and Daylyt. The most popular song among rap fans right now is the closer “7 Minute Drill”. Cole’s targeting of Kendrick Lamar on the track was thought to be a response to “Like That.”
Doja Cat gives up Scarlet 2 CLAUDE
In classic Doja Cat fashion, the rapper announced her Scarlet deluxe on a bizarre interview show called Therapy Gecko, where she and the host both wore oversized green Gecko suits and full makeup Face makeup. Doha said that “Scarlet 2 CLAUDE” was inspired by the character “The Hunchback” of the same name in “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.” She revealed this was due to the toxic tendencies of Disney villains towards the character Esmeralda. Doja shared the album’s cover art on Friday (March 29), which is a close-up image of her hair.

GloRilla’s single “Yeah Glo” has become inevitable since its release in February. Now she’s getting ready to release her next mixtape, Ehhthang Ehhthang. Glo’s latest work includes appearances from Moneybagg Yo, Megan Thee Stallion, Kevo Muney, Boston Richey and Finesse2tymes. The album follows Glo’s breakthrough 2022 mixtape, Life Is Awesome Anyway… , which catapulted her to stardom.
Lil Yachty launches new label compilation tape “It’s Us Vol.” 1
Lil Yachty’s Concrete Boys collective finally makes its full debut. Yachty, dc2trill, Draft Day, Karrahbooo and 31camo present It’s Us Vol. 1 tape today. The new project comes as Lil Boat has been eager to promote the group over the last year. He’s been talking about them nonstop on his A Safe Place podcast, and they’ve been on the road touring together. Their On the Radar Concrete Cypher broke out last October with over 5 million views. The Concrete team is very adamant about this.
