J. Cole has officially announced a new 144-page The Fall-Off magazine dedicated entirely to the history and culture of hip-hop. The print project will serve as a companion piece to his highly anticipated upcoming album, The Fall-Off.
The full story: The magazine isn’t just merch — Cole’s team calls it a “cultural archive” with essays, photography, and oral histories covering hip-hop’s evolution. It drops ahead of the album, which got its first trailer Jan 14, 2026 and a Feb 6 release date.
Cole teased the era with 4-track EP Birthday Blizzard ’26 in January, freestyling over Notorious B.I.G., Black Rob, and The Lox beats. He’s also launching The Fall-Off Tour July 11 — 50+ cities across North America, Europe, Australia, and South Africa through Dec 12. It’s his first solo tour since 2021’s Off-Season Tour.
