J. Cole and Cam’ron finally settled Cam’s lawsuit against Cole over the “Ready 24” song.

On Monday (March 23), Cam’ron posted a video on his Talk with Flee Instagram page in which he and J. Cole talk about Cam’s legal action against Cole over the “Ready 24” track. As previously reported, Harlem Rhymes sued J. Cole back in October 2025 for failing to reciprocate after Killa appeared on North Carolina Rhymes’ “Ready 24” song.

Cam claims in the lawsuit that he was not paid for the song and seeks $500,000 in damages. Cole countersued Cam in February, seeking a judge to dismiss the New York rapper’s lawsuit.

In the video, which can be watched below, J. Cole tells Cam’ron that he was initially disappointed that he filed the lawsuit.

“When the lawsuit came out, I said, ‘Come on, Cam,'” he said. “My self-reaction was like, quietly, I was like, ‘Fuck this guy.’ But then pretty quickly I was like, ‘But I get it.'”

The Dreamville Records boss added that after he calmed down, he understood Cam’s position that he felt he was being evaded and therefore had to take legal action to get what he was promised.

As for Camron, he admits his lawsuit is just a publicity stunt.

“Of course, it was never going to go anywhere, but to me, it was like, ‘I need to get this attention,'” he said.

Elsewhere in the interview, J. Cole shared his thoughts on Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s rap feud, as well as his current conversations with Drizzy and K-Dot.

J. Cole’s Talk with Flee visual podcast with Cam’ron will premiere on Revolt’s YouTube channel on Tuesday, March 24.
