Grammy-nominated artist Mali Wilson is bringing a message of unity and understanding to streaming platforms.
Mali Wilson uses music to promote unity with new single “No More Silence”
Mali Wilson will release No More Silence on July 17 as the Grammy-nominated producer, songwriter and recording artist continues to use music to convey messages of unity, education and social understanding.
The single is the centerpiece of a collaboration between Wilson, Dr. Shari Rogers, Spill the Honey and EarthAngel Worldwide.
The movement was inspired by the historic alliance between the African-American and Jewish communities during the Civil Rights Movement. The song encourages listeners to reject hate, confront injustice, and embrace compassion.
Written by Wilson, Craig J. Snyder, Eric D. Wilson and Dr. Rogers, “Silent No Longer” is the result of years of collaboration following the release of the documentary “A Shared Heritage.”
Wilson and the creative team at StoneWood Studios created the documentary’s original score, and then Rogers approached her with the idea of writing a song that could take the film’s message out of theaters and into communities across the country.
For more than three years, Wilson performed Silent No More in Central Park, Morehouse College, the Billie Holiday Theater, and Juneteenth celebrations. Viewers have been asking when the song will be released on the streaming platform, according to a press release.

Wilson said the song reflects the power of music to create connections during challenging times.
“Music has always had the power to bring people from different cultures and generations together. I hope ‘Silence No More’ will encourage people to choose understanding over division and remind us that our common humanity is greater than the differences that separate us.”
Although Wilson recently released her debut full-length album, Retro In Real Time, she chose to release No More Silence separately because it directly ties into Spill the Honey’s educational mission.
The release also highlights the ongoing partnership between Spill the Honey and EarthAngel Worldwide, Wilson’s nonprofit organization based in StoneWood Ranch, Georgia. The organization combines music, youth development, environmental stewardship, artist mentoring and pollinator education.
“No More Silence” will be available on all major streaming platforms starting July 17.
