Five men from Chicago have been charged in the Los Angeles shooting that killed Quindo Rondo’s cousin in a murder-for-hire plot to avenge King Von Von, according to reports.
Arrested in connection with 2022 Quando Rondo shooting
According to the Chicago Tribune, federal authorities in Chicago arrested Kavon London Grant and Deandre Dontrell Wilson on Thursday (October 24). , Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey and Asa Houston, who are suspected of fatally shooting Quando Rondo’s cousin Saviay Robinson ‘a Robinson). All five men were indicted on charges including conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire, murder-for-hire resulting in death and use of a machine gun during a violent crime resulting in death, according to news outlets.
The indictment alleges that all five men were associates of Lil Durk’s OTF group. Prosecutors said the five men paid for their flights and rental cars using credit cards associated with the tag. Additionally, prosecutors allege that an unnamed member of OTF allegedly offered “lucrative music opportunities” to anyone who wanted to kill Quando Rondo.

Quando Rondo emerges unharmed in shooting that killed cousin
At about 5:30 pm on August 19, 2022, Quando Rondo and his entourage were shot at a gas station in the Beverly Grove community of Los Angeles. Although Quando was not injured in the shooting, his 24-year-old son cousin Savi Ya Robinson was shot and killed.
The FBI believes the shooting was retaliation for the death of King Von, who was shot by an associate of Quando Rondo following a fight outside an Atlanta lounge on Nov. 6, 2020 Beat to death.
