FBG Murda was arrested on August 26 after being shot in a consumer store in Irving, Texas and charged with a serious attack with a deadly weapon.
The 26-year-old rapper was hospitalized after suffering multiple gunshot wounds following the incident. He was booked to the Dallas County Jail once the medical treatment was cleared, according to the Irving Police Department.
Authorities said FBG Murda and 21-year-old Elijah Jacobs entered the restricted area of the store and became aggressive when asked to leave. Police alleged that both men took out their guns and fought with the business owner.
“In the fight, the suspect threatened to shoot the victim,” police said in a statement. “When one of the victims caught the suspect, the suspect tried to escape from the vehicle and dragged the victim to the side. During this dispute, the gun was released and a suspect was beaten.”
Despite being shot, FBG Murda was listed as a suspect in the case, not a victim.
Jacobs was arrested at the scene and charged with the same offense. FBG Murda was arrested after being released from the hospital.
The investigation remains active as police work to determine who shot the shooting of FBG Murda. No other damage.
