Eminem had a lot of praise for rapper Kendrick Lamar and predicted that Kendrick will win the most Grammys in the rap category in 2025.
In an interview with Shade 45 radio just before Christmas, Eminem discussed a prosperous year that included the release of The Death of Slim Shady, an album widely regarded as his best in a long time. Despite the praise, Eminem believes Kendrick Lamar will win in every rap category, calling it “tough competition.”
“It’s very competitive. Kendrick is going to sweep it all away. … He will, and he should,” Eminem said when the topic came up.
In addition to song of the year, best music video, best rap song and best rap performance, “Not Like Us” is also in the running for record of the year, alongside Beyoncé’s “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” and Sabrina Carpenter’s “” Espresso” and Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” with Post Malone.

Eminem and Dr. Dre previously invited Kendrick to the 2022 Super Bowl LVI halftime show, where he performed “mAAd city.”
