Drake has been teasing a return to music since his acrimonious feud with Kendrick Lamar ended earlier this summer, with many fans speculating he would make a comeback by releasing a pop hit with broad appeal music to reassert its commercial dominance.

Akademiks has been the main hype artist behind 6 God’s potential comeback, writing on social media last month: “Everyone acting like Drake is over… 6 months from now to add to this tweet Bookmark it. We don’t want UN gas to get away from us…remember that.

Shortly after, he added: “Yeah…enjoying all the other noise and bullshit…Drake’s new music.” And it’s… believe it.

The media source also said he expected Drake to secretly tease Kendrick in his songs, and now the beef appears to have cooled down.

“It’s time for sneak diss. It really never ends. I can’t wait to hear the first sneak diss,” he said during a recent Rumble livestream. “Actually, I’m not even going to tell you what I heard, but the first time Drake secretly dissed was when he dissed Kendrick, and it’ll be interesting how he positions it.”

The comments were widely criticized as Drake bowed out of the feud following the release of “Heart Part 6,” which was largely derided by fans and critics and has since been removed from social media .

The Toronto native has yet to respond to Kendrick’s Pop Out concert, where he performed numerous diss songs, including the chart-topping “Not Like Us,” and also mentioned Drizzy’s former ally YG and NBA star DeMar DeRozan.
