In a bizarre display from a superfan, Drake fans appear to be selling chunks of ice and warning signs plucked from the rapper’s giant Iceman building in Toronto.
On Thursday (April 23), a rapper shared an image of an eBay listing on X from a seller offering a block of ice from the Drake’s Iceman building in Toronto. The asking prices for these icy souvenirs are as high as $6,000.
After a curious look on eBay, I discovered that there were several other fans selling ice cubes from the Drizzy device. A man is selling a giant block of ice – presumably from the Iceman building – for a staggering $25,000.
Additionally, some people are selling warning signs on Drake buildings on eBay. The signs were initially placed around the Toronto venue to keep fans distanced for safety reasons. One person sold the sign for nearly $600, while another seller paid $700 for the warning sign he installed.
Of course, any potential buyers looking for icy memorabilia or official logos in Iceman builds should be extremely careful, as many of these listings appear to be fraudulent money-making scams targeting unsuspecting Drake fans.
Hundreds of fans gathered in a Toronto parking lot on Monday (April 20) to take part in a hunt for treasure hidden in a giant man-made glacier before the ice melts naturally. The hidden prize is the release date of Drake’s highly anticipated album Iceman. Blowtorches and ice picks are used to break down ice structures.
Twenty-four hours later, on Tuesday (April 21), Twitch streamer Kishka discovered Drizzy’s Iceman release date hidden in a blue bag inside a block of ice. Later, he announced the release date at the official residence of the leader of OVO Sound.
Kishka opened the large-print magazine in front of the camera, and the magazine revealed that “Iceman” will arrive on May 15. In addition, the magazine also says “202426 will be my year.”
