Drake appears to admit his lyrical war with K-Dot is over

On Sunday (May 12), Drake shared an illustration on his Instagram Story that seemed to show that he recognized that his rap war with Kendrick Lamar was over. OVO Sound’s leaders used an illustration by designer Vadim Galuza, which depicts a lone samurai with his sword drawn, preparing to fight a majestic army of 1,000 samurai on horseback.

Drizzy captioned the post: “Great times. Summer vibes to follow.”

There’s no word yet on whether Kendrick will call a truce in his lyrical war with Drake.

Dawg Entertainment CEO declares Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud over

Drake appeared to wave the white flag after Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffeys declared their fight over.

On Friday (May 10), Teefice took to X (formerly Twitter) to express her relief and gratitude that their lyrical rivalry is over.

“The battle is over. Victory for culture while everything remains on wax,” he wrote in the post, which can be viewed below. “Especially when these publications are trying to do other things. We proved them wrong. That in itself is a victory. On the other hand, it’s time to end this TDE 20th anniversary collection.”

It’s unclear whether Tiffany was actually confirmed by Kendrick, who left the famed West Coast label in 2021, and the rap war has ended. However, some fans aren’t sure if their lyrical feud is truly over.
