TMZ broke the news on Tuesday (April 9) that the rapper had a run-in with the law. According to the celebrity news website, Tang was arrested this morning by the California Highway Patrol near the San Fernando Valley. He was pulled over for speeding when authorities said they had reason to believe he was impaired while driving, according to the report. Instead of booking the recording artist, they reportedly cited his name and handed him over to a passenger for safekeeping.

News of Don Toliver’s recent run-in with police comes just weeks after he announced the birth of his first child with singer Kali Uchis. The couple revealed the pregnancy news two months ago in a video they shared on social media. Don Toliver and Kali Uchis have been dating since 2020.
Musically, Don Toliver follows up with the release of two new singles, “Deep in the Water” and “Bandit.” He also recently announced that his new album Hardstone Phycho will be released in summer 2024.
