Diddy’s criminal defense team has begun to strike Kid Cudi’s explosive Porsche bomb testimony from records. The defense claims that his sensational narrative is speculation and that zero evidence can support it.
The lawyer for the bad boy tycoon filed new court documents to argue that Kid Cudi’s narrative about the 2012 Molotov cocktail attack on his Porsche has no place in court. According to TMZ, the entire narrative has aroused doubts rather than the hard facts.
Cudy testified in court last week that he “knows” Diddy was behind the violent destruction of the sports car. It allegedly happened shortly after Kudy stopped dating Cassie with her then-girlfriend, Cassie. But under oath, Cudy admitted that he had no witnesses, forensic evidence or direct contacts linked Diddy to the incident.
According to Cudy, the hip-hop man tycoon denied playing any role when he later faced the car bombing with Diddy. Despite the denial, Cudy claimed he did not believe him and recounted his subsequent encounter, Diddy allegedly apologized for “all bulls##t”.
Didi’s legal team said that’s not enough.
Diddy’s lawyer argued in the filing that the rapper’s personal belief in what happened in court was unacceptable because it lacked concrete evidence. They called the testimony “unfounded” and “highly biased.” They begged the judge to conduct the entire exchange from the official records.
The judge has not ruled the motion. If his defense succeeds, this will eliminate one of the most eye-catching, harmful moments in the record.
More charges are reportedly on the way.
