Dawn Richard’s account of Diddy’s alleged abuse in her lawsuit “does not match” her memories of former “Diddy” bandmate Kalenna Harper.
Harper released a statement regarding Richard’s lawsuit on her Instagram Story on Friday (September 13), which mentioned Harper multiple times and recounted events she allegedly attended, including bragging During a meeting at Dad’s house, according to the lawsuit, he choked Cassie and threw a pan of “scalding hot eggs” at her.
Harper said of the lawsuit in a statement: “[W]While I have been present in some of the professional settings described above, many of the allegations and incidents described in the lawsuit do not represent my experiences and some are inconsistent with my own facts.
Elsewhere in the statement, she said: “While I fully respect Dawn’s right to speak about her experiences, I would like to stress that her account reflects her personal views and should not be interpreted as a universal truth applicable to all involved. .
She said of herself and her husband/manager Tony Vick: “We were not involved in, and were not aware of, any conduct that could be considered abusive or illegal.”

Richard filed the lawsuit on Tuesday (September 10). They include allegations of verbal abuse, assault, sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress against Diddy between 2004 and 2011, during which time Richard performed with Bad Boy as a member of the band Danity Kane and later Diddy-Dirty Money Signing.
The 41-year-old singer claimed that Diddy (real name Sean Combs) broke into her dressing room while she was naked and groped her breasts and butt.
On another occasion, he allegedly asked her to come to his Miami home and greeted her wearing only her underwear. When Richard asked him to put some clothes on, Dee Dee allegedly refused, screaming: “This is my fucking house!”
The Goldenheart artist also claimed she was tortured by Puffy while she was under contract, with Bad Boy bosses allegedly forcing her to rehearse for 48 hours without sleep, causing her to lose weight, become dehydrated and fatigued, and develop rashes.
She also claimed Diddy once locked her in a car with dark-tinted windows for two hours while she screamed for help, forcing her to call her father for help.
Richard claimed that when her father traveled from Baltimore to New York and threatened to call the police on Dee Dee, the record executive told him to “think of your daughter” and “think of your daughter’s career.”
