Clayton Howard just filed a lawsuit against 50 Cent and Netflix over how they portrayed his story in the hit documentary Sean Combs: Reckoning.

The former sex worker said they distorted his testimony to make Casey look like a victim rather than the “major human trafficker” he called him. Howard appears in a Netflix docuseries that launched last month. But he wasn’t satisfied with the final cut.

His lawsuit claims producers “intentionally edited, misrepresented and misrepresented” his account to protect Cassie Ventura while suppressing his allegations against her.

“This calculated misrepresentation was designed to further defendant Curtis Jackson’s personal and business vendetta against Sean Combs,” Clayton Howard claimed in court documents. He said 50 Cent created a “commercially profitable narrative” to protect documented traffickers.

The irony runs deep.

Diddy threatened to sue Netflix and 50 Cent over the same documentary, but never followed through. His lawyers sent a cease-and-desist letter claiming the footage was “stolen” and asking Netflix to remove the show.

They warned of legal action, but no lawsuit was ever filed. Now, one of Diddy’s alleged victims actually did what the mogul only threatened to do. Howard wants Netflix to add a notice saying the account “has been edited and may not reflect the full testimony.” He is also seeking compensation for what he says is serious harm to his reputation.

The lawsuit stems from Howard’s larger legal battle with Diddy and Cassie. In July 2025, he filed a $20 million lawsuit against the former couple, claiming they sex trafficked him for more than a decade.

Howard claimed Cassie recruited him through an escort agency around 2009 and arranged paid dates, which often included a threesome. According to Howard, Cassie used an alias and Diddy operated under the name “Frank Black.”

He said Cassie arranged meetings in which Didi watched or participated. Howard also claimed that Cassie gave him STDs, got him pregnant, had an abortion without telling him, and then continued to have unprotected sex.

The former escort argued that Cassie was not only a victim but an active participant in helping manage the trafficking operation. He is currently studying law while representing himself in this complex case.

Howard said the government took advantage of his cooperation when helping their case but now treats him like an invisible man. Because his claim is pending, he is unable to apply for the Backpage Remission Program, a federal fund that distributes $200 million to victims of human trafficking.

Cassie previously accused Diddy of rape and abuse in her own civil case, and settled with Diddy in November 2023 for $20 million.

Neither 50 Cent nor Netflix have responded publicly to Howard’s new lawsuit.

Diddy is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after being convicted of two counts of transporting a person for prostitution. He was acquitted of more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges that could have meant decades in prison.
