Victims of Sean “Diddy” Combs have reportedly received death threats and fear their safety will be at risk if the Bad Boy Entertainment founder is released on bail.
Judge Arun Subramanian will make a final decision on Didi’s bail status on Monday (November 25) after prosecutors raised concerns that Didi may have obstructed justice.
Ariel Mitchell, an attorney for multiple alleged victims, recently spoke on NewsNation’s Banfield show about upcoming bail hearings.
“All of them are very concerned for their safety if he is released on bail,” Mitchell said of the alleged victim. “I have full confidence in the court. I am sure the court will uphold the previous decision of no bail.
According to Mitchell, her clients received life-threatening messages from unknown sources. Among them is grand jury witness Courtney Burgess, who claims to own the copyright to Kim Porter’s alleged memoir.
“There are threats from people on the internet, but at least it’s not a direct threat from Diddy that we don’t know about,” she added. “Mr. Burgess has received multiple death threats. My client Mrs. Parham has been receiving threats, but we don’t know if they are just regular people online or if they are actually sent by Diddy.
Mitchell accuses Diddy of trying to silence her
Mitchell claimed that she “has been talking about Diddy since 2021” and accused Diddy of “trying to silence me for years.”
However, she argued that “if anyone was feeling the pressure, I’m sure it was him” but she feared he might be released on bail.
“I have two straps on me,” she asserted. “And I have God protecting me. I’m not afraid. As long as he’s in jail. I would say, if he does get out of jail, I’m happy to hear that the judge won’t let him go back to Miami, so, from In that sense, I’m very grateful that if he comes back to Miami, I’m probably going to be a little bit nervous about possibly beefing up the security, and I’m fine with Smith and Wesson.
