Da Band rapper Freddy P claims he left the band after Diddy allegedly threatened his life.

The 43-year-old gave an interview to The Art of Conversation, published on Friday (April 19), during which the Floridian claimed he had sex with Puff on a bad day and things escalated to nothing The point of redemption.

“One day I woke up in a good mood,” he began. “I’m in the studio and I’m taking pictures or whatever. I don’t even want to get fucked. You know, when you’re surrounded by a bunch of idiots and you’re a street nigga, sometimes you don’t want to be around these nerds. So. I’m that asshole – I’m just frustrated with a lot of the shit that’s going on.

“Anyway, we got into trouble. We were in front of everybody, and n-gga was like, ‘Man, what do you think about this?’ He said, ‘Oh my god, I’ll buy every guy on your block. house, turn off every light in that bitch, every time you come out that bitch, you’re gonna be blown away when he tells you something like that, you’re gonna imagine he bought every house, you. Things like imagining every light going out silenced me.

The incident ultimately led to the rapper stopping working with the group, which was the reason for his absence from Dave Chappelle’s infamous Da Band spoof skit. He also revealed that it made him consider murdering Dee Dee, even though he clearly did not do so.

“I tried to get his ass out,” he said. “Me and my dude – God bless his soul – we had a G station wagon, he had his two-year-old, and I had a little pistol or something. I had a MAC or something, and we just Waiting for his pussy to come out.

This isn’t the first time Freddie P has spoken out against Diddy. Just a few years ago, in 2022, he said the music mogul was one of the main reasons he “hated life.” He also admitted that he had contemplated suicide on several occasions since quitting the show.

“I’ve thought about suicide three or four times this year alone,” he said in an Instagram video. “I literally pictured my brother walking in and finding me dead. I cried a few times just thinking about leaving my son because I was tired of life. But whatever you gotta do, you gotta keep it up… some niggas wanna Saw you fall.

He continued: “Like this n-gga Puffy is the main reason why I hate my fucking life, oh my god. People don’t even understand. Like, I just don’t care. I’ve never thought about killing myself in my life, never .I mean, I’m a gangster.

“I don’t even know how I started thinking like this. I had it all and I hit rock bottom. When you fight giants, how do you come back from that? It’s not about your skills anymore Does it matter because your skills are 90% better than any n-gga out there right now and the whole world knows it.

“Making The Band” aired for three seasons from 2000 to 2002. Under the New York native’s guidance, the show produced Da Band, Danity Kane, Day26 and Donnie Klang.

Boyband O-Town was also formed on the show, but that was during the first season, with executive and notorious con man Lou Pearlman overseeing the entire operation.
