For a while, Pusha t and No Malice was the meanest brother in rap – well, they’re back. “Let God Classify” is an album that will mark the return of the duo’s famous clip art, and Pharrell is in production.
For a while, all we had from the album was the songs that were played and premiered on fashion shows (particularly Pharrell’s brand); now we have a date.
The album will be released on July 11, 2025 in collaboration with ROC Nation. It was announced that the two released a trailer, first of all, to repeat the term “cultural inappropriate”. Among other things, this may just be back to a time when rap music is too overblown and inappropriate.
The opening montage seems to assert this understanding through contrasting paintings that can be seen as daily scenes of advanced art and the urban world. The phrase then goes from “This is not culture” to “This is culture” with chopped samples, which marks the beginning of a crescendo that erupts in the announcement.
Perfect tension building for one of the most anticipated modern hip-hop projects. The duo also reveals an album artwork designed by Kaws.
