A story that claims that the Uber driver sent one of his passenger tracks to Dr. Dre is debunked.

On April 22, an Instagram post started a loop, making this ridiculous claim last forever. The title reads: “Brother told his Uber driver that he made music. The driver replied, ‘I’m not your average Uber driver’ and played his song, then called Dr. Dre and sent him 3 tracks.”

The post was allegedly accompanied by a clip of driver “Rick”, allegedly called Dray, who told him that he could not listen to them at that time because he was “Rollin”.

But earlier this week, renowned producer Focus…had a lot of credits with Dr. Dre, jumped out in the comment section of the post. Focus on your energy…. Using the word “Rollin’” is the first clue, and it’s not the real Dr. Dre. He wrote, “That’s not Dre. I’m Rollin!?!? Trust me. That’s not Dre.” He added four laugh emojis to reiterate how ridiculous he thought the whole interaction was.

The little brother MC rapper Big Pooh also laughed and added four of his own laugh emojis. Of course, there are several other jokes, including a guy who called him “Temu Dre”. But there are many people who really believe in this person’s claims.

There are many reasons why people lie on social media, and it is influential.

According to a study by the University of Georgia, lying is a way to increase social value and self-esteem to change how others think of someone. People usually want to look more attractive, successful, or fun to gain admiration and validation from their peers or followers.

People are also seeking recognition and verification, especially among teenagers or those who find it trivial. Lie can be a way to be seen and appreciated by others. The need for recognition can motivate people to make stories or exaggerate experiences. Finally, some people create ideal identity or fantasy to make an ideal version of themselves or their lives.

It’s happening anyway, so it’s becoming increasingly difficult to tell what’s real and what’s not real, especially with the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI).

As for the focus…he may be protecting his friends. The experienced producer first caught Dr. Dray’s attention in the early 2000s, leading to his in-house producer contract at Aftermath Entertainment, where he contributed to projects like Eminem, 50 Cent and Game.

During the production of Dr. Dre’s album Compton, their partnership reached another level, focusing on…being a core member of the production team. In the studio, Dre uses a highly collaborative process to share ideas, build repertoire collectively, and leverages the strengths of each member to serve the music.

Focus… describes the work in collaboration with DRE as an eye-opening experience, learning from Dre’s meticulous production approach and benefiting from his ability to guide and perfect the creative process. Their relationship embodies the convergence of coaching and teamwork, with the focus on… having both their own expertise and absorbing Dre’s production capacity.
