Cardi B has become a topic of discussion in the trial of Stefon Diggs, who is accused of allegedly assaulting his former chef whom he said she had sex with.
On Monday (May 4), Jamila Adams, the woman who accused the Diggs of slapping and choking her during an incident in December 2025, testified that she had a personal and sexual relationship with Diggs before being hired by him as his personal chef in February 2025. She also talked about Diggs dating Cardi B, saying their relationship was very public and that Diggs was also in a relationship with another female employee. On the first day of the trial, Adams described an experience last November when she and Cardi planned to wear matching outfits but she was not allowed to go to Art Basel Miami Beach with Diggs’ camp.
On the second day of the trial, Adams struggled to answer questions about the text messages she sent Cady. Adams claimed that Diggs became enraged after allegedly going public with his infidelity.
Diggs, who was charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault and battery, has pleaded not guilty and denies all charges.
Cardi B and Stefon Diggs went public with their romance last May after rumors of them dating circulated for months. Cardi B welcomed the son of a professional wide receiver last November. In February, she seemingly confirmed that she and Diggs had parted ways.
