Camron called Jim Jones a fan and claimed Capo wasn’t from Harlem in response to the former Dipset soldier’s disdain for him in a recent interview.

Cam’ron and Ma$e returned to the event on Monday (January 13) with a new episode of the It Is What It Is podcast. Kira opened the episode with Jim Jones, who recently made some disparaging comments about his former friend and record label boss.

“You’re the guardian angel of designers, n*gga,” Cam says around the 2:40 mark in the video below. “What the fuck are you talking about? You’re from the Bronx, bro. You’re not from Harlem. Why do you keep thinking you’re from Harlem? You’re not from Harlem. I didn’t grow up with you Big one, my nigga.

Cam went on to call Jim a fan who saw Cam’s early exploits and tried to befriend Kira to gain influence. He also mentioned multiple instances where Jim didn’t live up to his hardcore image, including a time when Jim tried to pressure Maynor and the Brooklyn rapper flipped the script, and another time in Miami when members of BMF chased him on the beach Jim.

“They chased you to the beach, nigger. You were in the sand,” Cam recalled. “Wet from the water, from the ocean.”

50 Cent responded to Jim Jones

Jim Jones made headlines last week when he appeared on Justin LaBoy’s “Respectfully: The Justin LaBoy Show.” During the sit-down, he was asked about Cam’ron and 50 Cent’s recent interview, in which Fif talked about Jones and Juelz performing with 50 Cent at the height of the Queens rapper’s feud with Killa.

“They’re my assholes, right?” Jones said. “They niggas ain’t got nothing to think about but Cabo. I’ve done a lot for them in their lives. Both of them. But pause for a minute and get the fuck off my ass. It’s just space there. For the baby girl. “

Number 50 responded to the call by referencing Jones in 6ix9ine’s 2019 trial. “Haha, Individual 1 is calling the shots here,” 50 wrote in the post’s caption, joking that Jones was referred to as Individual 1 in court transcripts. “I know you’re at work, so please don’t say dirty words to me!”
