During the Hawks’ playoff game against the Knicks, Busey charged on a trampoline at State Farm Arena and completely blocked a dunk attempt.
Busey shot up Thursday during the Hawks’ playoff game against the Knicks at State Farm Arena, and the internet has been laughing ever since.
The Louisiana rapper rushed to the trampoline during a timeout in shorts and a T-shirt, encouraged by mascot Harry the Eagle, and prepared to dunk, sending the crowd wild.
Instead, he failed miserably, and now the footage is everywhere.
Boosie’s moment became the talk of the town. According to ESPN, the entertainment during the timeout got the crowd buzzing, and when Busey hit a layup, he struggled in every way.

The trampoline didn’t give him the lift he needed, and his attempt failed. Even more interesting is how confident he looks, like he still has the energy of his youth.
The real star on the court was Jaren Johnson, who led Atlanta with 24 points and 10 rebounds to help the Hawks take a thrilling 2-1 lead at 109-108. CJ McCollum sealed the victory with a clutch fadeaway jumper with 12.5 seconds left, finishing with 23 points and proving to be New York’s unstoppable finisher.
The Hawks built an 18-point lead early and held on despite New York’s late rally, with reserve Jonathan Kuminga scoring 21 points to keep the Hawks offense going.
The Hawks stepped up their defense at the most critical moment and forced the Knicks into key turnovers in the final stages. OG Anunoby scored a team-high 29 points for New York, and Jalen Brunson also scored 26 points, but it was not enough to overcome Atlanta’s execution in the final moments.
According to the New York Post, the Knicks had a chance to win but failed to take advantage and will now return to New York to face elimination in Game 4 on Saturday.
Boosie’s trampoline attempt will live forever in the compilations of highlights and memes, a reminder that not everyone can do what the pros do day in and day out.
