Blxst is speaking out after a break-in at his home left his family disturbed and frightened and left him feeling helpless and depressed while touring abroad.

In a recent emotional Instagram post, recording artist Blxst shared surveillance footage showing his home being burglarized while his family occupied his home on the other side of the country. Although the video is in black and white, three men can clearly be seen breaking the glass door to the backyard of Blxst’s home and getting inside.

It’s unclear how long the men were inside, but the minute-long video does capture their exit, showing the attackers running out of the home with several bags of unidentified property they may have taken inside . In the caption of the post he shared, Blxst vented his anger at the burglary suspect and addressed the tragic fashion he received regarding the incident in the process.

“To get to a level of intensity where you don’t fall,” Blxst began. “Imagine, at the peak of my career, I’m far away from my family, waking up at 4 a.m. with my son in my face saying ‘I think there’s a bad guy in the house,'” he wrote, expressing his of shock and helplessness.

Blxst then highlighted the emotional toll the burglary took on him, while also asking his fans and supporters to keep his family in their prayers.

“Words cannot express the frustration and emptiness in my heart and soul at not being able to protect my children,” he said. “God knows my heart…why are you playing with my heart? I’m proud of my humility and purity, but honestly, I don’t know who to trust.

Despite the ordeal, he expressed gratitude for his family’s safety: “I’m glad that my family is generally well. Thank God that I have the ability to go to war and the willingness to die behind me… Prayers for my family .

In the comments section of the original post shared by Blxst, countless artists from E-40 and Ty Dolla $ign and Jason Martin (Problem), to Busta Rhymes and Pusha T, continued to deal with the stressful event on Blxst.

“Blessings don’t stop Kim,” Busta wrote in the comments.

Pusha T shared Blxst’s frustration over the incident, adding, “I can’t imagine…,” while the “Never Enough” singer’s fellow LA star D Smoke offered words of encouragement in his comments words, and wrote: “Pray, brother.”

Unfortunately, Blxst is not the only one who has experienced such a traumatic event. In recent years, some well-known recording artists and celebrities have been targeted by thieves. While rapper Drake was on tour, his Los Angeles home was broken into and the intruders made off with valuables. Likewise, the mansions of Beyoncé and Jay-Z were targeted, but the thieves were caught before they could steal anything of importance.

Additionally, Marlon Wayans spoke out last month after two intruders entered his home late at night through the back window in an attempted robbery, and when employees arrived in the morning they found the house ransacked. Just discovered this situation. Malone later shared a similar post on Instagram, referencing “looters and others” in a public service announcement in the post’s caption.

“I was wrong n***** for Rob. Save your energy,” Malone wrote. “Sorry, I live a simple life with two cats, one of which is a 1994 Range Rover, if you steal it you will need to start it because the battery is dead. Robbers don’t waste your energy Or life to commit burglary, s### is too heavy!

“You want to carry all this b########? Throw your back out, for what? I repeat, I don’t own anything of value. I don’t have a ton of cash or jewelry. Please choose better of [target] Thank you and love you…still do.

Watch the post above to see the harrowing video of the break-in.
