Birdman weighed in on the ongoing discussion about Lil Wayne not being selected as the 2025 Super Bowl halftime performer.

Nicki Minaj, Master P and more have spoken out after Kendrick Lamar was announced for the show, and Weezy’s former Cash Money boss weighed in on the rap legend’s inability to hit the homepage Among the dissatisfactions of the big stage.

Appearing to attack JAY-Z, he wrote on Monday (September 9) on The Nigga recap us on Gladys.

In a second post, he added: “Hatin shit 4real.”

These nigga kittens @NICKIMINAJ @Drake @LilTunechi YMCMB. I’m gonna let these niggas recap us on Gladys 🐐

Following the announcement, Nicki Minaj was no longer shy about expressing her disdain for Hov and expressed her support for Lil Wayne in a series of posts on X.

“One n-gga dropped to his knees. Another n-gga took the bag,” she began. “He gets you ‘n-ggers’ lined up every time. Got everything in the world. Still full of malice and evil. Disgusting. Abeg be happy. Fuck be happy n!gg@!!!!!! !!!In the rap world. In the female business. When you have politicians and cops, you’re good with that ugly taffy alien.

“Trying to tell you but you want brunch LMFAOOOOOOOOOOO. I’m so awesome. Wait. Got hacked. Got hacked. Deny a young black man his due input into this game with nothing but your ego. No other reason than that. Your hatred for BIRDMAN, Drake and Nicki made you punish Lil Wayne!! What’s good about NOLA?

She continued: “Eminem was adamant about getting 50Cent released. A white guy. So fucking sad. House of N-GGER TINGZ. But these are good friends!! No loyalty? Welp. And then n-ggaz will Keep calling you! #DTLR #GagCityDC LMFAOOOOOOOO GOODAZ FI DEL GAL U AH GOODAZ FI DEM.

Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar appeared to take another jab at Weezy signee Drake in a promo announcing that he will headline the Super Bowl LIX halftime show — —The show will take place on February 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

“Rap music remains the most influential genre of music ever created,” Lamar said in an official statement. “I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right guy.

In addition to the group’s announcement in partnership with Apple and JAY-Z’s Roc Nation, the former TDE rapper also shared a clip from the film on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram and YouTube.

In the video, Kendrick practices with an unseen receiver off-screen. After a few passes, backed by coaching and praise for his players, he shared the big news and subtly referenced his feud with Drake earlier this summer.

The line “No Turn Two” appears to be a direct callback to a post Drizzy made via his Burner account two weeks ago, when he was in the midst of a flurry of new releases.

Drizzy shared a clip of former Detroit Pistons star Rasheed Wallace’s famous interview that seemed to show he was preparing for the second round, in which he guaranteed the team would win Game 2 of the 2004 Eastern Conference Finals Beat the Indiana Pacers.
