BIA Releases Cardi B Diss Track “SUE MEEE?” – Listen

UPDATE: BIA has dropped a studio version of the diss track.

Previous story:

I guess beef season isn’t over after all. Only this time, rappers Bia and Cardi B are embroiled in a heated controversy.

Like most rap beefs, this one seemed to start with some subconscious disdain. Still, the scene begs the question: If a pun hints at a name being leaked, is it really an understudy? You see, this apparently all started with Cardi B’s “Wanna Be (Remix)” verse, in which she raps, and we quote, “She’s on the shelf though, Ikea/Hope she’ll talk like that when I see her /B* **Please, no one wants to be you,” the ending rhyme hint plays on “BIA.”

Cut to earlier today, Cardi B took to social media to clear up the misunderstanding and give her thoughts on the BIA situation. Cardi revealed a transcript of a call she recorded between the BIA and herself, in which Cardi expressed anger at the BIA’s recent insinuations that Cardi stole from the BIA. She went on to say that she didn’t like BIA – “don’t like her music, didn’t like her look, and didn’t like her style” – but went on to say how she had to pull out receipts and prove to BIA that she didn’t steal her style. According to Cardi, the songs BIA claims Cardi copied from her were all produced before BIA released her songs (which include “Like What (Freestyle)” and “Enough”).

Oh, there’s more!

So I got a call and it stopped my screen recording, but not before Cardi “showed off her work.” She indicated that she recorded the song (I think she was talking about 2023) and also had the video treatment from last year… to show that she didn’t plagiarize anyone! pic.twitter.com/UDNipiRV8t

But after all this, the BIA doesn’t seem to care. Earlier today, BIA previewed her diss song against Cardi on Instagram Live. On top of that, the song begins with an automated recording that says, “This call may be recorded for quality and training purposes,” which seems to gloss over Cardi B’s recording of the phone call between the two.

On the track, BIA took a swipe at Cardi, filming her perceived inability to ride on time, her surgeries, her relationship with her husband and more. Watch her perform the song in the studio, below:
