Drake is mocking Metro Boomin with a meme that references a dig at his former collaborator from his recent diss song.
The Canadian superstar’s recent comments, “Drop and Give Me 50,” caused a stir in the hip-hop community. The song is a response to Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That” and other shots from Future and Metro Boomin’s “We Don’t Trust You” album.
While some doubted whether it was real or an AI version, Drake appeared to confirm its authenticity in an Instagram Story on Monday (April 15).
He posted an audition scene from the 2002 film Drumline, alluding to his recent diss attack on Metro. However, thanks to the magic of artificial intelligence, Drake asked Metro Boomin to play drums in Nick Cannon’s place.

On “Drop and Give Me 50,” Drizzy tells the producer to “shut your hoe down and make some drums.”
Last month, Metro Boomin denied fans’ claims that he needed to refute Drake to have a No. 1 album.
“No matter what, the album will be #1,” Metro wrote on Instagram in April. “No matter what, there’s going to be a No. 1 single. Get lost, that guy doesn’t even know you.”
Metro and Future follow up the chart-topping project with the second of a three-part series, We Still Don’t Believe You.
The project features J. Cole, who withdraws from the “Big Three” war by walking back criticism of Kendrick Lamar’s “7-Minute Workout.” Other guest appearances included The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky, who also took shots at Drake in their own verses.
