Tony Yayo went on The Breakfast Club today, August 14, 2026, to address long standing hip hop lore, finally revealing the backstory regarding an infamous past backstage scuffle between G Unit and Travis Scott. Yayo said the 2015 incident at Summer Jam started after Travis disrespected 50 Cents set.
According to Yayo, Travis tried to bring 20 people on stage during G Units set, and 50 told security to clear them. Travis allegedly said this my stage now backstage, leading to Lloyd Banks shoving him and Yayo pulling him by his chain. No punches thrown but Travis crew was ejected. Travis has never addressed it publicly.
The story resurfaces as Travis prepares Utopia 2 and 50 preps The Final Lap Tour 2. Yayo said we squashed it now, Trav good dude. Charlamagne called it the first time someone confirmed the lore after 10 years of rumors.
