Rick Ross opened the doors to an exclusive ‘Set In Stone’ party, where media, artists and industry insiders gathered to hear the sounds of luxury for the first time.

Rick Ross didn’t just premiere his recently released “Set In Stone.” No, he invited carefully curated media, executives and fashion leaders into the world he created.

Behind the doors of Luc Belaire’s SoHo, New York, headquarters, the rap mogul hosted an exclusive listening session that felt less like an industry event and more like a private gathering among friends, collaborators and heavyweights. From the lavish setting to the carefully curated guest list, every detail reflects Ross’ larger-than-life character.

The event kicked off with comedian Deon Cole, who had the crowd roaring with laughter as he hilariously mocked Rose over his recent viral “Economy Class” saga. As soon as the laughter subsided, the lights dimmed and the real reason for everyone’s gathering came into focus.

With the help of Dj Nasty, Ross personally took attendees on a tour of Set In Stone, providing an initial introduction to the album, which balances rich storytelling with the refined Miami sound that has defined his career. One of the biggest surprises is the latest installment in his iconic Maybach Music series, where Jeezy joins Don Toliver for a record that instantly resonates with the room.

But it was Kodak Black’s “Diamonds Never Die” that really changed the mood. The record is anchored by nostalgic Miami bass energy that hits so hard that attendees repeatedly asked DJ Nasty 305 to spin it back before the song ended. By the time it ended, it had become one of the undeniable highlights of the afternoon.

Before the first track plays, another memorable scene unfolds. AllHipHop chief Chuck Jigsaw Creekmur facilitated the introduction between Ross and one of the rapper’s heroes, Hip-Hop icon Big Daddy Kane. We’ll tell the full story soon. The conversation quickly evolved from admiration to storytelling, with the two exchanging memories, sharing laughs, and even looking forward to the possibility of one day working together. A true full-circle moment unfolds in the spotlight.

The room itself reflects Rose’s standing in the hip-hop world. He was joined at the event by girlfriend and runway model Jazzma Kendrick, producer Statik Selektah, comedian and radio personality Cypha Sounds, VIBE boss Datwon Thomas, DJ Boy Wonda, Sirius XM’s Ron Mills and numerous media and industry figures. Along with the food and drinks flowing, CDs were handed out.

Sure enough, hospitality befits the owner’s reputation. Belaire was packed throughout the afternoon as guests dined on upscale fare including four-cheese macaroni and cheese, seasoned chips and caviar, a first-time taste of the delicacy. For many in attendance, including this author, this was a first.

By the time the final record fades out, the message is clear. Rick Ross isn’t just introducing a new album. He reminds everyone why, nearly two decades into his career, so few artists have figured out how to turn an album launch into an experience like The Biggest Boss . In fact, people were enjoying the night so much that many didn’t notice Rozai’s quiet exit.
