Jay-Z will celebrate his 30th anniversary of international performances with a London show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 4.
Jay-Z has just locked in the London leg of hip-hop’s biggest anniversary celebration in years, and the international leg of his tour has officially expanded to exceed all expectations.
The game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on September 4 is his only game in England this year, adding a heavy weight to a campaign that has been building momentum since the spring.
Previously announced shows in Paris on September 10th and Los Angeles on October 23rd will take place in London.
The whole thing started at Roots Picnic in Philadelphia in May, where Hough brought the energy with support from the legendary hip-hop group.
That performance set the tone for a comprehensive celebration of his work and legacy.
The real centerpiece production will take place this week at Yankee Stadium, with back-to-back performances on July 10 and July 11, commemorating the 30th anniversary of “Reasonable Doubt” and the 25th anniversary of “The Blueprint,” respectively.
Roc Nation has been running a complete promotional strategy to make this anniversary feel special.
New York pop-up stores in DUMBO and Brooklyn offer fans exclusive opportunities to celebrate the album’s history, while Target has a special anniversary vinyl edition for collectors.
iHeartRadio has partnered to give away 30 exclusive prize packs and hosted a listening event in Mexico City for an international audience.
Merchandise launches, pop-up experiences and concert series combine to serve as a reminder of why Reasonable Doubt changed everything when it launched three decades ago.
Tickets for the London show will go on pre-sale at 10am local time on July 9th, with general sales starting at 10am on July 10th
