Lupe Fiasco has been in and out of the GOAT conversation for a while now. While many are dismissive of him, a rabid fan base has completely doubled down on his pen war.
Considering Lupe’s early impact on the industry and now on education, they’re not wrong. At MIT, Lupe took rap theory classes, including other courses that helped open up academia and shed light on often-overlooked genres and cultures.
