Megan Thee Stallion reportedly testified that she didn’t care whether she lived or died after the blogger she sued sparked negative publicity over her posts.
Meghan appeared in federal court in Miami on Thursday (November 20) to file a lawsuit against blogger Milagro “Gramz” Cooper for defamation, promoting altered sexual depictions and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
On the witness stand, Megan became emotional as she recounted the aftermath of Cooper allegedly posting a deepfake porn video impersonating the rapper.
“There was a time when I really didn’t care if I lived or died,” Meghan said, according to ABC News. “I felt like I didn’t matter at all. I shouldn’t even be alive. I didn’t want to be here. I was tired of waking up. I just wanted to die. I was tired of living.”
“I wouldn’t kill myself because I wouldn’t give them what they want,” Megan added.
The Houston host said she hopes telling her story will “inspire other women to speak their truth.”
On the third day of the trial on Wednesday (November 21), Meghan’s manager, Travis Farris, testified that Meghan went to a $240,000-a-month treatment center after Cooper circulated false pornographic videos of Meghan.
Meghan accused Cooper of molesting Meghan at the behest of Tory Lanez, who was convicted of shooting Meghan in 2022. Tory is not a defendant in the lawsuit. However, he was deposed before trial.
