Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill is back once again to give fans a musical treat, and no, it’s not a single. The rapper just released his EP Indie Pack (Volume 1), which contains four tracks and starts off on an introspective note.
The EP opens with “Save Yourself,” a song with minimal drums and max rap about the need to save yourself and your soul before helping others. The second song begins with a high-pitched vocal sample called “How Far We Came,” a solid continuation of Mick’s introspective journey: realizing where he was and where he is now.
A short and digestible four-course meal disguised as an EP, the project seemed like a warm-up for bigger projects and a fresher sound. Fridayy also appears on this EP (on the last track) – check it out!
