Offset deleted his Instagram and X accounts after a series of heated messages targeting Cardi B and Stefon Diggs, the couple caused personal tensions and an online rebound after their public appearances over the weekend.
The hip-hop artist’s frustration seemed to emanate from a photo showing her son waving a hairstyle similar to Diggs, a broad receiver of the New England Patriots.
Offset shares now-deleted warnings about potential consequences.
“Now, when someone plays with my son, then calls me a crash,” he wrote. “IDC my appearance, wit dragged my kids to a bad ending.”
The show surfaced from a yacht party after footage from Cardi B and Diggs, which coincides with the beginning of an organized team event in the NFL.
Despite not requiring attendance, Diggs’ absence attracted criticism from Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel, especially since this is his first season on the team.
Offset’s online response was quick and intense. Shortly after the position, he disabled his X and Instagram accounts. The move comes as his divorce from Cardi B continues to play a role in public, with the offset requiring spouse support in court documents.
Cardi B did not retreat. At the X-Space conference, she lashed out, saying she wanted to deviate from “slow death.”
The Bronx-born rapper and offsetist have been married for six years and have shared three children. The couple’s split is marked by public disputes and emotional outbreaks, with their latest conflicts catching the attention of social media and sports.
As of Wednesday (June 4), Offset’s account was still deactivated.
