Despite LP’s No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 rankings, Playboi Carti disagreed with the first week of his new music album.

On Sunday (March 23), Billboard announced the latest top 10 of the Billboard 200 rankings, showing Carti’s long-awaited new LP music and debuted in its first place with 298,000 equivalent album units. Tally includes 14,500 album sales. Additionally, the project’s streaming debut was any album released this year and has 384 million official streams on demand.

It seems that PBC does not match the total. The Atlanta rapper responded to DJ Akademiks post, announcing the number on Sunday. Carti disputes the numbers in the X post below, claiming that it should actually be “320”[,000]. ”
The album was initially expected to move 302,000 equivalent album units in its first week at the pace of HITS Daily Double. Despite not getting the Carti total, the album remains the second largest debut of any album in 2025, behind tomorrow’s Weeknd Hurry Up, which debuted at 490,000 EAU.
Playboi Carti’s new 30 albums are released on March 14, including Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, The Weeknd and more. You have previously announced that you are in the project. However, he did not make the final layoffs. This caused Yeezy’s anger, who has been summoning Carti on social media.
Carti may not be able to complete new music. He recently teased the new mixtape with his DJ Swamp Izzo.
