After teasing for a while, Wale returns with his brand new single “Blanco.”
The song marks his first release in 2025, and the flavor of his upcoming new album, which is expected to be passed by Def Jam later this year. Through “Blanco,” Wale takes an unusual approach to return, rap and sing the harsh reality of relying on alcohol to deal with life challenges.
“The artist spent years hiding behind Bravado’s…’Blanco’ stripped all of this. It was the beginning of a more honest conversation I wanted to have with the audience and my audience, and I wanted to give people the opportunity to connect with my more fragile side of art,” Wale shared the song.
