Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, believes the FBI did not seize the more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil from the Bad Boy Records founder’s home. Agnifilo expressed skepticism about the government’s baby oil claims in two interviews.
“I don’t think it’s 1,000,” Agnifilo said in an interview. “I think it’s a lot. I mean there’s a Costco down the street. I think Americans are going to buy a lot of it.
The lawyer said in a separate interview that he didn’t know “where the number 1,000 came from.” U.S. Attorney Damian Williams revealed the figure at a news conference following the indictment.
Prosecutors said the baby oil was evidence of Diddy’s “perversions,” and authorities called it an “elaborate sexual performance.” Diddy and his associates allegedly “transported commercial sex workers across state lines and internationally” to conduct these orgies.
“[Federal agents] “We seized evidence of ‘Freak Offs’ – electronic devices containing ‘Freak Offs’ images and videos of multiple victims,” Williams said. “They seized boxes and boxes of personal lubricants and baby oil. , Coombs’ staff allegedly used the lubricants and baby oil to stock hotel rooms for “freaks,” totaling more than 1,000 bottles.
Agnifilo questioned why baby oil was even part of the discussion in Diddy’s criminal case. The lawyer commented disparagingly on the reason Dee Dee drinks so much baby oil.
“A bottle of baby oil helps a lot,” the lawyer said. “I don’t know what you need 1,000 for. I mean he has a big house. He buys in bulk. I think there’s a Costco everywhere he has a home… I don’t think it’s 1,000. Let’s just say , a lot of them.
Diddy was arrested Sept. 16 on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation for prostitution.
Two judges denied Didi bail. He is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
