Nicki Minaj, Master P and more have spoken out after Kendrick Lamar was announced for the show, and Weezy’s former Cash Money boss weighed in on the rap legend’s inability to hit the homepage Among the dissatisfactions of the big stage.
Appearing to attack JAY-Z, he wrote on Monday (September 9) on The Nigga recap us on Gladys.

Following the announcement, Nicki Minaj was no longer shy about expressing her disdain for Hov and expressed her support for Lil Wayne in a series of posts on X.

Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar appeared to take another jab at Weezy signee Drake in a promo announcing that he will headline the Super Bowl LIX halftime show β βThe show will take place on February 9 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

In addition to the group’s announcement in partnership with Apple and JAY-Z’s Roc Nation, the former TDE rapper also shared a clip from the film on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram and YouTube.
In the video, Kendrick practices with an unseen receiver off-screen. After a few passes, backed by coaching and praise for his players, he shared the big news and subtly referenced his feud with Drake earlier this summer.
