Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have set a November release date for their highly anticipated Missionary album. Dr. Dre noted in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that he is close to finishing the remix.
“I wanted 14 songs, Snoop wanted 16, so we made it happen,” he explains. “As far as remixes go, I’m working on track number 11. I have to finish it and deliver it by September 1st to release it in November.
Dr. Dre said that “Preacher” is the sequel to “Snoop Dogg”‘s classic debut “Doggy Style” and will show “different levels of maturity” between the two.
“I feel like this is some of the best music I’ve ever made in my career,” Dr. Dre said.
He added, “We have Sting on a song. Man, the list of artists on this album is amazing. Honestly, I shouldn’t reveal that.
Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre perform together at the 2024 Olympics Closing Ceremony. This performance may not be the last time fans see Dr. Dre at the Olympics. The legend hopes to compete in the USA Archery team trials before the 2028 Olympics.
“I heard the Olympic qualification is 77 feet,” he said. “I’m still practicing when I’m 90. Isn’t it fun? To go to Los Angeles, especially in Los Angeles, and win a gold medal? I feel like I can do anything.
The 2028 Olympic Games will be held in Los Angeles. Dr. Dre was in his early 60s at that time.
