Lato has kept her mystery man (rumored to be 21 Savage) a secret for years, but she says her music tells the true story.
Speculation surrounding the rapper’s secret lover has persisted for years, with fans piecing together any clues the singer might have left behind. However, in a new interview, Lato claimed that netizens don’t know her real boyfriend yet.
During a recent chat with Apple, Ebro Darden tried to get some information from the “Sunday Service” hitmaker.
“Assuming the internet is correct about this person’s identity,” he said before asking her if she liked keeping her relationship private.
“The Internet doesn’t know about ag######, so let’s start there,” Lato replied. “It’s really no one’s business. Listen to the music and you’ll know what you need to know.

Lato on feeling like a ‘fool’ writing love songs
Latto addressed her boos on her latest album with songs like “Good 2 You” and “Settle Down,” which fans believe are references to 21 Savage. “Put down a hoe and lay down a savage,” she said to the latter.
However, Lato said writing these personal songs about her love life sometimes made her feel like a “fool.”
“When it comes to other people in the studio,” she explained to Ebro, “I feel like a fool, but I’m not a fool.”
Lato added that she found it “weird” but had to “put aside her ego” and swallow her pride.
“When I was able to fully immerse myself in the element, it wasn’t difficult if I sat in the studio and really wrote down my thoughts,” she added. “But I feel like a fool when there are people around.”
Both Latto and 21 Savage have denied the rumors in the past. Last year, Lato explained why she kept her boyfriend’s identity secret.
“If something is special to me, I keep it close to me because everything else has to be front and center in my life,” she tells People.
