6ix9ine’s legal woes worsened as the IRS seized some of his luxury cars from his Florida home.
The customized vehicles, which included a Bentley, were part of an operation conducted by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office to assist the Internal Revenue Service on Wednesday (April 17).
According to TMZ, the rapper was not home at the time of the search, during which the IRS seized multiple items of property in addition to the vehicle.
One of the cars seized was a customized Bentley that had several bullet holes in its windows, as footage from the seizure video circulating online showed.
The IRS has not confirmed the reason for the investigation or seizure of 6ix9ine’s assets, but it is likely tax-related.
Regarding the raid, the rapper’s attorney said: “We are evaluating the situation and will issue a statement at the appropriate time.”
6ix9ine, who currently lives in the Dominican Republic, is also facing legal issues.
The Brooklyn native was recently released on bail after being arrested for domestic violence against his girlfriend, Yailín la Más Viral.
Her mother, Wanda Diaz, made accusations of violence, but Yellin denied anything happened. However, Diaz did not attend the proceedings to state her side because she was allegedly ill due to complications from plastic surgery.
6ix9ine’s release deposit is $507. The judge overseeing the case reportedly found that the evidence presented by prosecutors was insufficient to retain Yalin due to his lack of cooperation.
6ix9ine has had a tumultuous relationship with Viral, and she was previously arrested on a felony charge after footage emerged of punching the rapper.
The video on 6ix9ine’s Instagram seemed to capture the controversy in real time. The post begins with 6ix9ine writing in Spanish that “Yailin needs help” and that he remained silent about the entire situation until he could no longer do so to protect her.
Later in the video, the two can be seen having a heated argument, and at one point, Yailin uses a 2 x 6 to knock 6ix9ine’s phone out of his hands.
The two can also be seen grappling with each other before Yalin was taken to jail.
