There were 50 points on Sunday for any advice on gang affiliation after British tabloids linked him to former G-unit member Bang Em Smurf, who is now seeking asylum in the UK.
Hip-hop and entertainment tycoon posted screenshots from the Sun on Instagram showing the name of the Smurf Daniel Calliste, who reportedly landed in the UK earlier this year, claiming he needed to be “safe” in Trinidad, his hometown of Trinidad.
The Smurfs were reportedly staying in government-funded hotels while his asylum demand was under review, a detail that sparked controversy over Britain’s austerity immigration policy.
50 Cent did not waste any time separating himself from the situation, claiming that he had not spoken to Bang Em Surf in 23 years.
“I hate my name attached,” he wrote on Sunday (May 11). I added “I will never have any contact or contact with the gang. I am not a gang!”
He capped the post with a poke, “For you, the tuff guy is happy Mother’s Day.”

Smurf was deported to Trinidad, USA after serving his role in the gunfight, recently popped up in a British podcast and even took a photo with British nobility at the Parliament Building.
Smurf, once a branch of G-Unit, led to a long public dispute with 50 cents decades ago.
Their falls are well documented, but this latest title drags 50 names back into the mix-he obviously isn’t excited.
