50 Cent just revealed that he’s actually working on new music with Eminem for the upcoming Street Fighter movie, utilizing previously unreleased Tupac recordings.
The rapper said no artificial intelligence was used on the project and that Pac’s recordings were real. “I’ve done something right now, me, Eminem and Tupac… it’s actually the theme song for the movie Street Fighter,” he said, adding that the music “will be out soon.”
When TODAY was asked if he had “their approval” (“them” most likely referring to Pac’s family and estate), 50 Cent claimed they really liked it. “We tried hard and we did well,” he said, nonchalantly posting news of a legendary collaboration online. How excited are you about this?
